A documentary following Pulitzer Prize-winning food critic Jonathan Gold through the indigenous culinary hotspots of Los Angeles. A love letter to a city and to one of its greatest voices.

We brought together food bloggers and influencers across LA, Chicago, New York, and San Francisco for a Facebook Live event at Grand Central Market with Jonathan Gold himself. Distributed branded restaurant maps across Los Angeles that became keepsakes for anyone who loved the city the way Gold did.

After years of working in LA and living inside its food culture, this one felt personal. Jonathan Gold saw Los Angeles the way most people never adventured to. Getting to help bring his story to a wider audience was a privilege.

Jonathan Gold passed away shortly after the release, it was a privilege and an honor to be part of this love letter to LA and the immigrants who make this city a glittering mosaic of cultural cuisine.
